THIS IS ABOUT
Lords Dojo is a dedicated martial arts club rooted in the tradition and spirit of Zen Do Kai — a freestyle martial art known for its practical, well-rounded combat and self-defence principles. Our dojo continues the legacy and vision of the late Richard White & Kyoshi Ed Skipter, who were instrumental in bringing Zen Do Kai to Adelaide and building the original Lords Dojo. With the blessing of Kyoshi Skipter’s family and to continue the respect the wishes of the late Richard white, we proudly carry forward their passion for training, community, and martial arts excellence.
At Lords Dojo, we offer comprehensive training that blends traditional discipline with modern self-defence and fitness practices. Our programs include Karate, Kickboxing (Muay Thai), Self Defence, and Weapons Training, all built on the core principles of Zen Do Kai. Whether you are new to martial arts or an experienced practitioner, our supportive environment is designed to help you develop confidence, skill, resilience and physical fitness.
Located at the Glandore Community Centre within Clark Hall, Lords Dojo is more than a gym — it’s a community where students train together, respect tradition, and strive for personal growth both on and off the mats.
OUR MISSION
our mission is to develop strong, disciplined, and capable individuals through structured martial arts training grounded in the principles of Zen Do Kai. We are committed to delivering practical, real-world self-defence skills while preserving the tradition, respect, and integrity that define true martial arts.
We believe martial arts is more than physical training — it is a pathway to building confidence, resilience, mental toughness, and leadership. Every class is designed to challenge students physically and mentally, helping them grow not only as martial artists but as individuals.
Through disciplined training, supportive mentorship, and a strong sense of community, we strive to create an environment where students of all levels can push their limits, refine their skills, and carry the values of respect, accountability, and perseverance beyond the dojo.
